To get your Klaviyo credentials, you can go ahead and head here to learn where to find them.
The first thing you need to do is select the flow you want to enable your Klaviyo source in.
Once you have selected what flow you want to enable the Klaviyo source in, you should go ahead and search for the Klaviyo tap in the Sources tab of hotglue.
Now that you've found the Klaviyo tap, go ahead and click the corresponding Connect button.
Here, you should plug in your Klaviyo credentials. If you don't know where to get those, you can learn how to find them here.
Once you've filled in the credentials, go ahead and click the Save & Continue button.
Now that you've connected your Klaviyo, it is time to configure your field mapping.
The first thing you need to do is go ahead and click on the Klaviyo card to configure the field mapping.
Now you need to select the icon corresponding to the Customize field map option.
Missing Klaviyo Metrics
Many of the available objects in the field map are Klaviyo metrics. If some metrics are missing for you, you must create valid Contacts in Klaviyo that would show data for the metric, and refresh the field map. For example, the subscribe_list metric would only show if some Contacts were subscribed to campaigns.
Once here, you can go and select what you want to bring in from the Klaviyo you've connected. For this example, I am going to select the lists table by clicking the corresponding gear icon.
Once you've clicked the gear icon, you will have the opportunity to select the fields you want to pull from that table. I am going to use the select all button above the Available column.
Now that I have selected the fields I wanted, I will use the arrow in the middle to move those objects over to the Chosen column.
Once you've selected the fields you want, click the Confirm button.
You can repeat the process above for all the tables you want! Once done, go ahead and click the Save button. You have now configured your field mapping!
The first thing you will need to do get your Klaviyo credentials is make an Klaviyo account. You can make a free account (or sign up for a paid account) at this link. If you already have an account, you can log in at this link.
First, we are going to go through how to find your personal API key.
Once you have logged in to Klaviyo, you will be shown the home page of the Klaviyo platform. In the top right corner, there is an icon with your initial and company name. Go ahead and click that icon.
Now go ahead and click on the Account tab from the drop down.
You will now be on your account page. Go ahead and click on the Settings tab in the upper right hand side of your screen.
Go ahead and select API Keys from the resulting dropdown.
Now you will be on a page where you can generate the API Key for hotglue.
You should go ahead and click the Create Private API Key button.
You should go ahead and name the API Key hotglue. Start this process by clicking the pencil icon under the label section.
Once you've typed in hotglue, click Save Label.
Now you should go ahead and copy your API Key. Do this by clicking the reveal button next to the API Key.
Now go ahead and copy that API key and paste it into hotglue!
