Start a Jupyter workspace

How to open a Jupyter Notebook workspace session

Generally, you should launch the Jupyter workspace from the admin view – not the tenant view. Launching Jupyter as a tenant will only update the script for that user.

In hotglue you can start a Jupyter workspace to edit the ETL script for a data source. Simply select the Python button on the source.

Once the Jupyter workspace is ready (which is indicated by it being colored in), you can connect to it by clicking the Python button and then clicking the "Connect" button.

Once you press edit transform, you'll be redirected to Jupyter in a new window. When we enter the Jupyter workspace, we can begin to create a transformation script.
